It was an honor and a great pleasure to come to Finland and be a part of such a wonderful symposium! It is our goal to facilitate the transfer of new ideas and research about why horses go lame, and the venue and audiences were excellent. The symposium organization was also excellent; it allowed time for follow up on topics covered the previous day and, importantly, for interaction with attendees and the other speakers on an individual basis. I was also delighted to have the opportunity to do a joint presentation on applications of tensegrity to the horse and rider with Jean Luc Cornille, which we did at the suggestion of Gunilla Wahlberg. We also learn from each presentation we give, and we returned full of ideas thanks to the wonderful audience engagement and feedback.
Many thanks to Hevosalan edistämisyhdistys ry., Vetcare, the symposium sponsors and all the hardworking volunteers for putting on such a great symposium!
